InfoSec boasts that 94% of their students pass. What an excellent sales ploy. I pass you the money and I’ve got a 94% chance of passing and I’m off to a career making over a hundred thousand dollars.
The reality is that no one ever questions that 94% which is a totally manufactured number.
If you do your due diligence and research the reviews that this company has, you’ll find those who’ve ponied up the money, wasted their money only to be career set back by what I would call a scam operation.
Source: review posted on PissedConsumer on February 19, 2019, rated 1 out of 5, with a reported loss of $8,000. Lightly edited. The original closes by calling Infosec a “scam organization.” The 94% figure is the reviewer’s. Infosec’s own marketing has also used 93% and 95%.
Part of my full Infosec Institute review roundup. It collects every complaint, the pass-rate claims, and better ways to prepare for the CISSP in one place.
