5/5 stars — Jay made this happen, and I’m grateful he did

Full transparency upfront: I initially reached out to Boson wanting to borrow a coworker’s account just to try it out and write an honest review. Before I even got that far, a very kind gentleman named Jay from their team reached out and offered me a trial code instead. No strings attached, short term access, exactly what I needed. That kind of responsiveness and goodwill before I’d spent a single dollar already told me something about the company.

And then I actually used the product, and it backed up every good impression.

After getting burned by Infosec Institute’s boot camp, where the practice questions were inaccurate, explanations were missing, and the whole thing felt thrown together, Boson was a breath of fresh air. The questions are well-crafted, fair, and genuinely aligned with what the actual exam tests. But what really stood out were the answer explanations. They don’t just tell you what the right answer is. They explain why each wrong answer is wrong. That sounds like a small thing, but when you’re trying to build real understanding rather than just memorize your way through, it makes a massive difference.

There were concepts I had been fuzzy on for weeks that finally clicked after working through a Boson explanation. It has that rare quality where you come away from a study session actually feeling smarter, not just more tired.

Jay, if you’re reading this, thank you. You didn’t have to do that, and it mattered. If you’re serious about passing the CISSP and want a practice exam tool that treats you like an adult who needs to genuinely understand the material, just buy Boson. Don’t overthink it.
