2/5 stars — Free access, honest review, still didn’t work for me

I want to be upfront about something before anything else: ITProTV gave me complimentary access to their platform. I appreciated that gesture, and it says something good about them as a company that they were willing to do that. They also were genuinely supportive when I reached out about some prior frustrations with my CISSP journey, and I want to acknowledge that too. Good people running the show.

But I promised an honest review, and an honest review is what they’re getting.

It just didn’t work for me. I tried, genuinely tried, sitting through the ITProTV CISSP content with an open mind and real commitment. The production quality is solid, the setup looks professional, and you can tell effort went into building the platform. The problem was the actual instruction. The explanations had a way of circling around a point without ever quite landing on it. I’d finish a segment and realize I couldn’t clearly articulate what I had just learned. For a topic as dense as the CISSP, that’s a real problem.

I came away from more than a few sessions feeling more confused than when I started, which is not something you want to be dealing with this close to an exam.

I genuinely hope they tighten up the content delivery because the infrastructure is clearly there. And again, the people behind the scenes at ITProTV were nothing but kind and supportive. It just wasn’t the right fit for how I learn, and I’d rather tell you that honestly than sugarcoat it.
